My notes tell me that TUXFER.DATA.nnn files are created by a SB+ process. Since we have hundreds of these files, I would like to know what they are used for and if we can delete them? I'm surprised they are not automatically cleaned up.

They're created for and used by SmartQuery. They are not automatically cleaned up.
