Title: F3 intuitive Help on "Logto"
Post by: DonQuixote on July 10, 2013, 04:38:52 PM
In Prelude's main menu  M:SBMENU is the "Logto" selection which pops up with the prompt
"Logto Account (or OFF)"
F3 brings up a list of accounts.  Where is this list?
It does not reflect our current status and needs to be updated.

The file DMACCOUNTS maintains an entry for each account on the list.  It is part of the current System Builder account, so depending on how upgrades were applied, it can easily be out of date.

Attributes in use on my system include:

1 - Account Path
2 - Account Description
3 - SB Account Flag (Y/N - Prelude Data and Program accounts are N)
6 - User ID (only a few accounts have this, marked either LIVE or TEST)
11 - Account User ID (e.g., AIX user)
12 - Account Group ID (e.g., AIX Group)
13 - Account UMask (no clue - appears to be an inverted chmod code)

Hopefully you have existing entries to match to newer accounts, and can delete the outdated items.
